South African Society of Crop Production (SASCP) invites South African students to apply for Bursary Programme 2024

Bursary Application Closing date is 15 March 2024

The South African Society of Crop Production (SASCP) is offering bursaries for the 2024 academic year. SASCP encourages students to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate studies within the broad area of Crop Production, specifically Agronomy or Crop Science.

Bursary Value:

  • 3 x Undergraduate bursaries, valued at R10,000 each
  • 2 x MSc Postgraduate bursaries, valued at R15,000 each
  • 1 x PhD Postgraduate bursary, valued at R20,000

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. South African citizen or a permanent resident in South Africa.
  2. Completed Matric.
  3. Studying towards a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree, focusing on Crop Production (Crop Science or Agronomy).
  4. Completed the 1st year of study if applying for undergraduate funding.
  5. Studying at a recognized University in South Africa.

  2. Enter “StudentRoom.co.za” in the field asking how you heard about the SASCP bursary.

Supporting Documents:

Submit clear copies of the following documents with your application form:

  • ID document (certified copy).
  • 2023 academic year full academic record.
  • Proof of tertiary registration for the 2024 academic year.
  • Reference letters from the study leader/Dean of the faculty.
